For this photo assignment, I did black and white. For this assignment, I used pictures I already had or pictures that I took over the weekend and turned them into black and white. In order to make the photo black and white, you had to put the photo in photoshop and select the black and white option. I learned that it really matters what you take pictures of because not all pictures will look good in black and white.

For this assignment, we were suppose to take multiple pictures of our self in a scene and use photoshop to have multiple photos of us in one picture. Another assignment we did was motion, it was the same thing as multiple me but we were either running or doing something that would cause motion. It wasn't as hard as I thought because I did these assignments last year. I learned that if you overlap yourself when taking the photos it is very hard top edit it in photoshop. For this photo assignment, I took pictures of macro. I went around my house and took close up pictures of objects. This took a lot of work because I had to be creative of what would look good and what settings to use. I had practice with macro last year in Digital photography 1 so it was a little easier than when I first started. I learned that when taking macro you have be creative and you have to know what would look good. Also, you have to put it in macro mode. For this photo assignment, I took 3 pictures of one thing under exposed, right exposure and over exposed. Then, I put the photo in Camera raw and combined all the photos together to make a HDR photo. I took my pictures outside my house. I took pictures of my landscape and my house and put them in HDR. I enjoyed HDR because we had practice with it before hand so it wasn't confusing when I got home and took my pictures. I learned that taking HDRS need good lighting or else they won't turn out the way you want them to. For this assignment, we took HDR photos. HDR stands for high dynamic range. For this assignment, I went around the school and took 6 pictures inside and outside the school. For the other 3 photos I went to my house and took some HDR photos. For this assignment, we had to take three pictures one in not enough light, one in enough light and the other over exposed. After we took these pictures we went into camera raw and merged them together. Overall, I liked this assignment because we could take pictures of anything. I learned that if you use a tripod to take these pictures they will come out a lot nicer. For this assignment, I took Panoramic's off campus and on campus. I went to the pond outside of the school and took a panoramic there. By far, the pond panoramic was the favorite one I took. I also went to my house and took some panoramic's because we had to take photos off campus. I enjoyed taking the panoramic's at the school because you could take a panoramic of almost anything. I learned that panoramic's turn out better if you use a tripod and that you have to make sure the settings are good so a good panoramic comes out. For this assignment, I took panoramic photos. I had experience with taking panoramic's because we just recently had an assignment on them. I went outside in my backyard and took photos. It was really nice out the day I took my pictures so it made it more fun. I learned that the overlap is key to the panoramic's because if you overlap too much the photos won't turn out the way you want them to. For this assignment, we were taught how to do 4 different frames. I liked how they were all very different some each other and they were fun to make. What a disliked was it was kind of repetitive. I learned how to frame photos in 4 ways so I can use them on my photo assignments. This was my most enjoyed project. For this assignment I shot all 10 of the Principles of Design. I really enjoyed this assignment because it made you be creative and take photos that matched each element. I learned that you have to be creative to find some of these elements. For this photo assignment, we did color. I went around my house and found things that had color in them. These are five of my best photos I took over the weekend. For editing, I did no editing to these photos. I learned that it is hard to get the right lighting to make the color pop. |
